The Challenges
We’re sharing Jesus in hard-to-reach places.
Millions of people in south Asia have never heard of Jesus and have no access to a local church. We are committed to working through the challenges of reaching this part of the world, bringing the Gospel where it’s never been!
Challenges At a Glance
When you consider the challenges of doing ministry in south Asia, you can clearly see why this region is difficult to reach. Take a look at a few of the major hurdles we work to overcome.
NUMBERS OF UNREACHED
To put it simply, “unreached people” have no access to Christian influence. There’s no church in their community, not a single believer in the area, and no access to the Bible.
More specifically, Joshua Project defines Unreached People Groups as being less than 5% Christian Adherent and less than or equal to 2% evangelical. Learn more about this definition here.
According to Joshua Project, 5 of the 10 largest unreached people groups are located in south Asian countries—totaling hundreds of millions of people who have no access to the Gospel message.
Check out this resource from the International Missions Board to learn about specific unreached people groups through an interactive map.
